Help......Medals will be giving... Two pink-flowering plants are crossed. The offspring percentages are 25% red, 25% white and 50% pink. What pattern of inheritance does flower color in these flowers follow? A. multiple alleles B. incomplete dominance C. polygenic traits D. codominance

OpenStudy (zale101):

red x white = pink intermediate inheritance in which one allele for a specific trait is not completely dominant over the other allele.

so it's b.

OpenStudy (zale101):

yup

OpenStudy (zale101):

It can't be codominance, heterozygous for two codominant alleles will express the phenotypes associated with both alleles. If it's codominance, red x white = has to equal the dominant trait (red)
