I need help. I need to evaluate 7 -3, the three is like -3 to the third power, I do not know how to make the -3 small next to the 7. I am thinking 7x7=49x(-7)=-343? does this sound right?

OpenStudy (blurbendy):

does it look like this? \[7^{-3}\]

Yes

OpenStudy (blurbendy):

7^-3 = \[\frac{ 1 }{ 7^3 }\]

OpenStudy (blurbendy):
