OpenStudy (anonymous):

The file doesn't work for me.

OpenStudy (blurbendy):

i had to open it in Word

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Still nothing. Oh well. :/

OpenStudy (primeralph):

@music101 This is the second time your files are faltering. Are you using some encryption software or specific version of the program?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

http://prntscr.com/1gmolz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[A = P(1 + i)^{n}\] IS this the formula you use at your institution?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

browser is rejecting the file, but it opens fine in word

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnk ganesh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a=p(1+(r/n)^nt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If so than \[2, 262.82 = 2000(1+i)^{5}\] \[1.\[\ln1.13141 = 5\ln(1+i)\]13141 = (1+i)^{5}\] solve the rest!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 1.025

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but I didn't exactly solve it ur way

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

1.025 is correct !

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

r = 1.025, so whats the interest rate ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

102.5??? does that make sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good job but the correct answer is 2.5 %

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have to subtract the 1.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

which bank gives you 100.5 % interest rate ha ? all interest rates are below 10 oly generally

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jk! 2.5%?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

cool! you have to subtract 1 ^^ mebs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok.... :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what he said...

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

1.025 - 1 .025

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

multiply it wid 100 to convert it to % .025 x 100 2.5 %

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thnks to both of u!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
