please HELP!!!!!! Find the area of a square patio if the length is \sqrt {250} ft.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the length of each side is the square root of 250?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It just says that the length is 250?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm guessing you have to find the width. to get the area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, if it's a square patio, then every side should technically be equal....right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I already tried multypling 250 by 250 & got it wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so, if one side is 250, then the area would just be 250 * 250. but if you said that one side is the square root of 250, then a square root multiplied by the same square root yields the number under the integrand, so the answer would be 250

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think the answer would be 250 if its in the problem? but I'll try it hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I only have 2 attempts to take this quiz so i'll try it after im done with the others
