The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object. \[a = Fnet / m\]
F=dp/dt=d(mv)/dt=m dv/dt=ma p is momentum. F is force. a is accelaration. v is velocity. t is time.
for a body moving in a constant motion, the applied force is directly proportional to acceleration as long as its mass remains constant \[F \alpha Ma\]
