Tell what quadrants the graph of x - y = 5 is plotted in when graphed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this I had a really hard time with I put Quadrant 1,3, 4

OpenStudy (lncognlto):

Well, rearranging the equation, it gives y = x - 5. Using my calculator to substitute in a range of values, -10 to 10, quadrants 1, 3, 4, would be correct.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

y = x - 5 so this will pass through y axis at -5 and when y = 0 x = 5 so |dw:1374427028559:dw| ;;

OpenStudy (lncognlto):

You could also work out the x and y intercepts, and draw line through these two points for a quicker way of doing it.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

1,3 and 4 is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much

OpenStudy (cwrw238):
