OpenStudy (sarahc):

How many grams of iron metal do you expect to be produced when 265 grams of an 84.5 percent by mass iron (II) nitrate solution reacts with excess aluminum metal? Show all of the work needed to solve this problem. 2 Al (s) + 3 Fe(NO3)2 (aq) 3 Fe (s) + 2 Al(NO3)2 (aq)

Are you sure about the Stoichiometry in your calculations?

OpenStudy (rane):

@sarahc use stoichiometric calculation, ist find the moles of iron nitrate then use stioc' ratio to get the answer. this is unkmown/known * moles (FE(NO3)2). then use the moles that u have calculated to find the m = n*M
