what is the sum of all the angle inside the polygon?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
doesn't give it.. But I'm guessing it'd be 360, right?
OpenStudy (habbster):
(n-2) × 180° where n is the number of sides
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Ah, I should remember that.. I just did this. Alright thanks for reminding me though. haha... ah..

oh wait

But when It says to give a numerical answer only, what would I put? because I've gotten a fraction before and it came out as wrong..
OpenStudy (habbster):
no it should be (10 - 2)x 180
so the sum of the interior angles is 1440
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh okay..so if it was 12-2*180, it would have just been1800?
OpenStudy (habbster):
yes
OpenStudy (anonymous):
alright thank you

since the polygon is 10 sides divide the sum by 10 so one interior angle is 144
OpenStudy (anonymous):
What if that isn't an option..?
OpenStudy (habbster):
what do you mean?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
well it's multiple choice and 144 isn't one of them it has
360
18
180
36
OpenStudy (habbster):
no, that was not the answer yet :D

oh haha silly me
OpenStudy (habbster):
after getting the 144
since the angle of a straight line is 180
to find the exterior angle you need to subtract 144 from 180
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh okay so 36?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
:D
OpenStudy (habbster):
yes :D
