Is this the proper way to write the following equation if I wanted to shift it 3 units upward on a graph and 4 units to the left?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x=-√y\] is the original equation. I think the revised equation would be \[x+4=-\sqrt{y+4}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or rather \[x=-\sqrt{y+4}-4\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops I mean \[x=-\sqrt{y+3}+4\]
