I'm not familiar with parallel sentences, but answer C makes the sentence sound choppy, so I believe it is C

Parallel structure sentences are for example sentences with words ending in -ing such as "I have to go swimming,dancing, and singing." or -ed "They swimmed, danced, and laughed" those are just one out of so many examples
