Honestly, I think it would depend on a variety of things, like how much time she had left and if the prompt was of her choice or one given by the teacher, etc. However,
revising her prompt would seem like the best solution

If the prompt is assigned, Amy can't revise it. She should revise what's off topic to suit her topic better. In the end, more points are awarded to essays that stay true to the prompt. "Some of her test time" would never be enough to rewrite the entire essay, and if she rewrites her thesis, she'd still have to change her entire essay to sit that thesis. C is the only answer left, and the only answer that makes sense.
