solve for X. 4 = log2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[4=\log_{2} \] \[2^4=x\] \[x=16\] I get rid of the log by exponentiating both sides by 2 because a base of 2 and al og base of 2 cancel eachother

I never thought of going about it that way.

It is the way I learned, my teacher called it (in this case) 2ing both sides lol
