1708.59 in^2 ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the base of a cone is a circle, which area is pi*r^2 and the side of the cone has an area of pi * r * slant so the total area of the cone is \[SA = pir^2+\pi rs\] where s = 24.1 and r = 14.2

@austinL we're finding the surface area, not volume.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi (14.2^2) + pi (14.2) (24.1)
