Does anyone know anything about the Greeks and deductive reasoning?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Didn't I........never mind.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm working on an assignment now about it and yes you did explain it to me but its about how the Greeks used it and I think I know but I'm not too sure

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Well, same story. A classic example was in deriving the area of a circle using approximations from polygons inscribed and escribed around the circle. The deduced that the area of the circle must lie somewhere between both polygons.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I was thinking but I'm supposed to watch a video and then explain it but the video isn't telling me much so I have to figure it out and I don't want to submit it and look like an idiot

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Let's see the video?

*My example was about the Greeks.
