SOLUTION?? 9^x-1=27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ln28/ln9=x

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well rewrite 9 in terms of 3 \[(3^2)^{x -1} = 3^3\] using the power of a power law it can be written as \[3^{2x -2} = 3^3\] now just equate the powers 2x - 2 = 3 solve for x

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

@Swati19 i think the equation is 9^(x -1) = 27
