Any easy ways to remember the Kingdoms in Africa and the Natives of Central and South America?
I usually look at the crash course videos on YouTube but they didn't have any for this lesson. Are there any videos, pictures, or hands-on resources out there to help me remember?
Africa Kingdoms: Dejenne-Djeno Ghana Empire Mali Empire Songhai Empire Meroe Funj Axum Ethiopia Oromo Great Zimbabwe Mwenamutapa Kongo Lunda and Luba Swahili Buyoro-Kitara Central and South American Tribes: Olmec Zapotec Chavin Nazca Moche Incas Maya Aztec
Like the Central and South American tribes are not that bad, but I really need help on the African kingdoms :(
If there's one thing I don't know enough about in history, it's the history of Africa and it's native peoples throughout history. Sorry :(
Thanks though :/ Do you know any youtube channels or history websites though? Anything helps :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58l3kqcW-zY This is the first of what I guess to be a 5 part series of a documentary on Africa. It's long, and I know it's not what you're looking for, but it's something. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvnU0v6hcUo I just found one of those crash course Africa videos you were talking about with John Green, and he alludes to others, so that might be a thing.
Ohhhhh ok so theres something =D I forgot about Mansa Musa hehe :3 thanks =D Like something like that, is what I'm looking for, or like any games or anything but it seems like theres not a lot of that online about Africa.... there's like so many weird names to remember xD
the only thing I really know about Mali is that Mansa Musa was godly rich, like richest guy ever rich. Dejenne-Djeno were Islamic People Ethiopia were Christian People
