i am confused :( why is it like 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 2 on the first row?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

For each roll of 1 of the first die, the second one can have rolls of 1 to 6. Then for each roll of the first die of 2, the second one again can go from 1 to 6. The same is true for the first die rolling a 3, 4 ,5 6. There are 36 total possible outcomes of the rolls of two dice. Write them all in a table and find X (the sum of the two rolls) for each roll of the two dice. Write that in the table two. In other words, just continue my table.
