Identify the slope and the y-intercept of the given lines: 2x-y=6 I know you have to get the equation to look like y=mx+b, so what I did was: 2x-y=6 >> cancel out -y with +y and add +y to 6 >> 2x=6+y >> cancel out 6 with -6 and add -6 to 2x >> 2x-6=y >> rearrange to y=2x-6. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

its correct.. 2 is your slope and 6 is your y-int.
