look at the denominators what values can't z take so solve z + 1 = 0 and the denominator or the other can be factorised to z(z + 3) so z = 0 and solve x + 3 = 0 so these will be the restrictions z = 0, and the solutions to z + 1 = 0 and z + 3 = 0 now factor the numerators \[z^2 + 3z + 2 = (z + 1)(z + 3)\] so your problem becomes \[\frac{z^2 \times (z + 2)\times (z + 1)}{(z + 1) \times z \times(z + 3)}\] cancel the common factors for the simplified answer
