It is the most catastrophic stock market crash in the history of United States. It was what led to the Great depression during that time began in 1929. Many lost their jobs and many shares were crashed. It apparently happened on a Tuesday. If you go to wall street stock exchange in New York now, you will see a bull out side. There is a story for that too. It was actually supposed to be inside the building but many thought it was the reason for the crash so they put it outside. Hope this helps :)
