determine if the statement is true or false The y-intercept of y = -3 + 1 is -1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am going to make a guess that this is actually \[y=-3x+1\] in which case, since \(+1\neq -1\) the answer is NO

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

thats what I first put, but then deleted it.....y = mx + b...the y intercept is in the b spot

i see ! thank u

OpenStudy (texaschic101):
