Tangent is used in a right triangle as opposite over adjacent, so you take tan(63) 63 because this is the only angle given. Once this is found you get whatever tan(63) comes out to be and set it equal to the opposite side over the adjacent side. In this case, it would be 24/x. Your equation to solve is tan(63)=24/x. The correct answer is C.
