Find 2 points of the line: (3,6) and (9,2) Now you can see that the transformation from the x coordinates and y coordinates separately. Going from 3 to 9, you add 6 for x. Going from 6 to 2, you subtract 4 for y. Now slope is considered as y/x. -4/6 is your slope which can be simplified as -2/3.
