I know the answer! but doubts with the sign!!! A pool is filled to a depth of 2.0 m. How deep does the pool appear to be from above the water? is 1.5 (negative or positive?)

Well from the physicist point of view its negative (due to the co ordinate system) but this is real life and depths aren't measured to be negative. So go for positive!
