graph of y > x 2-2x +3 contains which of the following points? A. (0, 0) B. (-3, 2) C. (1, 4) D. (5, 1)
for each point, plug in the "x" part for each x in the equation, and the "y" part for each y in the equation, then see if, after you do the math, the thing that's left is true. If it is true, then that point is contained by that graph.
i need an answer for my friend
Sorry I was away, what do you need?
an answer for my friend
ok... what's the question?
graph of y > x 2-2x +3 contains which of the following points? A. (0, 0) B. (-3, 2) C. (1, 4) D. (5, 1)
oh, same question. I see.
yeah
ok so all we need to do is take the x and y numbers from each answer and put them in to find out if they give us something that's true... or we can graph it. Which would you like to do?
I'll start showing you how to do it the first way, ok? Let's put in the first point. We put in 0 for every x and 0 for every y and we come out with 0>3, which is not true. So (0,0) is not part of the graph.
i don't know how to do it I'm in 10th grade and I'm still behind in math...this is for a friend going to college
ok...
I'll skip to the good part
plug in point (c) and you get 4>2, which is true, so the answer is c
yeah i'm waayyy behind in math but i still have an A average so I am hoping to be a math major!!
Oh that's cool, so you like math? Really?
yes I love it!!
Well that's great. Good luck and study hard :)
igtg go close the question answer my new one
