Which of the following constants can be added to x2 - 3x to form a perfect square trinomial? a) 1 1/2 b) 2 1/4 c) 4 1/2

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Ahh same thing with this one...just more messy...take your 'x' coefficient (-3) and divide it by 2...then square the result...and you get...?

OpenStudy (nory):

(-3)/2 squared, as he said.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9/4 which reduces down to 2 1/4

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Perfect! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sweet, thanks again

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

no problem!

OpenStudy (primeralph):

@Gabriella77 What camera is that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (primeralph):

That's awesome. Are you into photography or just felt like having one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both kinda, I'm into photography but I'm not very good at it. @primeralph

OpenStudy (primeralph):

I don't get photography. It's cool, but I just don't see what's special about it. Guess I need some inspiration from insagram.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, well I like to take pictures of nature then paint it, so I guess im in it for the art (: @primeralph

OpenStudy (primeralph):

That's awesome. I don't know how people stare at trees and grass and decide to draw it. Seems hard. Can you show me somethings you've done?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
