Which one is a certain sign that a website is not reliable? Select one of the options below as your answer: A. there are a couple of broken links on the website B. there is extensive advertising on the website C. there are no details about the owner of the website

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would pick B

OpenStudy (dmw_ocw):

I would say C, most reputable sites have some type of identifier as to who us running the site.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont think owners want to expose himself much or in some extend they need to hide themselves form spammers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But again could be good indication too so if there will be multiple choice I would pick this too

OpenStudy (dmw_ocw):

Happybee agreed but I also think there are ways to have people know who your company is or at least to contact you while keeping spammers at bay. It is sort of a tough question without having the background material it is coming from.

A seems like the best indicator to me. On a functional level, broken links render it unreliable. C brings up some red flags as well.
