I'll love you forever if you help me, -2y - 7 > 11 Part 1: Solve the inequality above. Part 2: Describe the graph of the solution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can see a detailed solution with following page ==> http://www.quickmath.com/webMathematica3/quickmath/graphs/inequalities/basic.jsp#c=graph_stepsgraphinequality&v1=-2y+-+7+%3E+11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

−2y−7>11 (−2y−7)+(−11)>11+(−11) −2y−7−11>11−11 −2y−18>0 (−2y−18)+18>18 −2y−18+18>18 −2y>18 2y2<−182 y<−182 y<−2⋅322 y<−9

@happybee thank you I appreciate the help SO much! :) mind helping me with another?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why not?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@happybee It's about the same thing, 16 < 2x + 4 < 4 Part 1: Solve the inequality above. Part 2: Describe the graph of the solution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Happybee for the graphing part it has to say something like, "x less than or greater to 4; open circle on 4, shading to the left" blah blah, because it's number lines. How should I put the answers for both on part 2?
