In Romeo and Juliet act 2, scene 2, which of the following quotes is an example of subjunctive mood? A. But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks? B. Her eye discourses; I will answer it. C. O, speak again, bright angel! D. What if her eyes were there, they in her head?
d
thanks :)
subjunctive is like imagining somethings there or wishing ...he is imagining if her eyes were there etc...medal please? :)
In Romeo and Juliet act 2, scene 4, what does Romeo NOT know that Benvolio and Tybalt do know? A. That he and Juliet will be married soon B. That he has been challenged to a duel by Tybalt C. That he is now in love with Juliet Capulet and not Rosaline D. That the nurse will meet him to make arrangements
You can eliminate two of those right off. Then, looking at the scene should let you pick between the other two. And to be honest, I think only one of those makes sense.
