What are you looking for?

product

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Multiply 7x by 8x^4 Then multiply 7x by -5. Is it supposed to be (8x^4+-5)? The +- seems odd.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah not sure why it is like that

Then what I said up there. 7(8)=56 and x(x^4)=x^5, so 56x^5 7x(-5)=-35x So it is 56x^5 - 35x. Do you understand how I got this answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thank you
