Which of the following does not belong in a conclusion paragraph? A. An attention grabbing sentence. B. A restated thesis sentence. C. A conclusion sentence. D. A summary of supporting details
so the answer is a is that what you're saying
How many supporting details should you develop to back up your thesis
have your wrote an essay and came across a conclusion?
there's no way A would be correct
Writing a conclusion means you're ending the essay by summing-up the whole argument.
A is therefore used in the intorduction, that's how you grab the readers attention to your essay. They won't start reading from the bottom of the essay to get their attention grabbed.
A and D are the worst answers for a conclusion. if you do not know what conclusion means (which you probably do) it means the end paragraph or the end of something but it is explained. if you have to explain everything in the conclusion paragraph there is something wrong with the rest of the essay. and never include attention grabbing material in a conclusion paragraph. that is because you will leave the reader hanging. however it is OK if you write something that ties with it afterward. if you need more help you can ask me im on every day :)
