When you subtract a number from the 'x'...(x - 2) you shift the graph to the right that many units...so here...to the right 2 When you subtract a number from the whole function ( - 1) you shift the graph vertically down by that many units...so in this case...shifted down by 1 And when you multiply the equation by a '-'...you reflect the graph over the x-axis....because now every 'y' value you get will be a "-y value" So you have Shift right 2 units Shift down 1 unit Reflect across 'x' axis Which one is that?
