what's the formula for finding the area and perimeter of a circle??

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

\[\large Area = \pi r^2\] \[\large Circumference = 2 \pi r\]

hartnn (hartnn):

Area of circle = \(\pi r^2\) Perimeter = Circumference of circle = \(2\pi r\) where, r= radius of circle

thanks! :)

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^-^

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

@hartnn mind if I ask how you make your "Tex" stay in line with your text??

hartnn (hartnn):

sure, use `\( .. \) ` instead of using `\[...\]` like `Hi \(there\)` is shown as Hi \(there\)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Ahh wonderful ...Thank you! :)

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(radius=half \) right?
