the answer is "7 left" and it is easy to see \(y=|x|\) has ordered pairs like \((-2,2), (-1,1), (0,0), (1,1), (2,2)\) and so on to get those same outputs you have to subtract \(7\) from each input \(y=|x+7|\) has ordered pairs \((-9,2), (-8,1), (-7,0), (-6,1), (-5,2)\) etc
