Jordan created a graph to represent the number of cookies left in a box over time. What type of slope is the graph most likely to show? positive negative zero undefined

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you putting any cookies back in the box, or just taking them out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@satellite73 neither I have to find out how many where in the box

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no you don't

question asks this "What type of slope is the graph most likely to show? "

OpenStudy (anonymous):

unless he puts cookies back, it will be negative since the number of cookies is getting smaller

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@satellite73 tthanks

yw

you might point out (gently) to your math teacher that time is continuous, but number of cookies is discrete, so in fact it would be a step function, not a line
