I need help
Question 1 (Multiple Choice Worth 1 points) Find the exact value of the radical expression in simplest form. the square root of 11 + 2 the square root of 11 22 the square root of 22 2 the square root of 22 3 the square root of 11
\[x+2x=?\]
√11 + 2√11 Forget the radicals for a moment. What is 1+2?
3
Now just add the radical back in. 3√11 Does that make sense?
I don't know how to do the problem at all
You can add radicals just as you would any numbers, as long as the numbers under the radical are the same. First add the numbers in front of the radical. In this case they're 1 and 2. 1+2=3. Now add the radical back in. 3√11. Does that help?
how do I add it back in
You just add it back in. Because you weren't actually adding 2+1, you were adding 2√11 + √11.
so what its 22
what is one bottle of beer plus two more bottles of beer?
3 bottles
right
what is one \(\spadesuit+2\spadesuit\)?
3X
got it so what is \(\sqrt{11}+2\sqrt{11}\) ?
imean c
i have no idea what b is but \(\sqrt{11}+2\sqrt{11}=3\sqrt{11}\) just like \(\clubsuit +2\clubsuit=3\clubsuit\)
oh ok its d thanks for the help can you help me with some more
sure post
Find the exact value of the radical expression in simplest form. c times the square root of c + 12 times c times the square root of c − 2 times c times the square root of c 11c c times the square root of c 11 times c times the square root of c 11 the square root of c
let me try to write it first
is it c
can you help with some more
\[c\sqrt{c}+12c\sqrt{c}-2c\sqrt{c}\]
yes, it is \(11c\sqrt{c}\)
Question 3 (Multiple Choice Worth 1 points) Find the exact value of the radical expression in simplest form. the square root of p to the sixth power + the square root of 9 times p to the sixth power + 3 the square root of p to the sixth power − the square root of p squared 13 times p cubed times the square root of p − 2 times p times the square root of p 13 times p cubed times the square root of p − 2p 7p3 7p3 − p -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question 4 (Multiple Choice Worth 1 points) Find the exact value of the radical expression in simplest form. the square root of 3 times x + 3 the square root of 3 times x − 2 the square root of 3 times x − 10 −10 2 times x times the square root of 3 times x 2 times the square root of 3 times x − 10 10 − 2 times x times the square root of 3 times x -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question 5 (Multiple Choice Worth 1 points) Find the exact value of the radical expression in simplest form. the square root of 4 times y cubed − the square root of y cubed the square root of y y times the square root of y y times the square root of 3 times y the square root of 3 times y cubed -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question 6 (Multiple Choice Worth 1 points) Find the exact value of the radical expression in simplest form. the square root of 169 − the square root of 50 − the square root of 8 13 − 7 the square root of 2 13 − 3 the square root of 2 7 the square root of 2 6
no this \[\sqrt{p^6}+\sqrt{9p^6}+3\sqrt{p^6}-\sqrt{p^2}\]
is that the first one?
ok I got to go sorry but thanks for your help
