in this case the function is continuous because if you use the equation y=5x
and sub in the values of x it should give the value of y

Yes, it's continuous because you can skateboard for any length of time greater than 0. You can skateboard for 20 minutes, or 32 minutes, or 45.9 minutes, and so on. Theres no limitation on the x variable at all.
