Proteins have a variety of functions within a living cell. Describe at least three of the possible functions of proteins, and explain how proteins can be so diverse when there are only a limited number of different amino acids. (This question is not multiple choice)
I mostly need help with the second half of the question.
Protein has various roles in the body. Here are some of the main roles: 1. Protein helps build and maintain body tissues like muscles 2. Enzymes and hormones and other compounds in the body are made of protein 3. Protein is used to make hair, skin and nails A protein molecule can be as long as 300-400 amino acids, linked in a linear order; Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and can be arranged in many different ways to create different types of proteins. Proteins can contain any number of amino acids and they are all unique in their function.
coz those limitted number of amino acids join in different order to make it happen
Thanks!
