well 1st step is to attempt to factor the quadratics and linear then the 2nd step is... dividing by a fraction, flip the denominator and multiply. so you are looking at simplifying \[\frac{9x^2 -1}{8x - 4} \times \frac{2x^2 + x -1}{3x^2 + 5x -2}\] then look at common factors that cancel. step 3, multiply whats left.
