i need help in writing the formula in excel for the following $250,000 invested 10yrs @ 5% annual rate
i tried fv *5%/12 *10 thats not working thanks in advance

assuming fv is defined elsewhere you would type in

=fv*5%/12*10

and this is assuming you wan to use simple interest


btw I would use pv in place of fv
