Inverse variation means \[\Large y = \frac{ k }{ x }\] You need to find k, given you have x=1.5 and y=50, so plug those in: \[\Large 50 = \frac{ k }{ 1.5 }\] Now find k... you can multiply both sides of the equation by 1.5
