@phi

OpenStudy (phi):

next, interpret which has cut his trip time in half. that means the old trip took twice as long. in math: 2 * time_of_new_trip or 2* 2 3/4 can you do that ? remember 2 3/4 can be written as (2+ 3/4) and 2(2 + 3/4) means 2 times each thing inside the parens

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (phi):

or, you can change 2 3/4 to an improper fraction do you know how to do that ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@phi is the answer 5 1/2

OpenStudy (phi):

how did you get it ?
