Suppose we have a function f(x). To translate f(x) some units up, say z units up, you do f(x) + z.
z = 7.
So you just do the original h(x) + 7.
Does that make sense?

No. You just add 7. It's really easy, because you're just translating up. If you were translating to the left or right...that would be a different matter.
