So in order to get f by itself, you need to get it out of the parenthesis. To get rid of the parenthesis, distribute in the 3 and you'll get C = 6f - 15h. Now move -15h to the other side to further isolate f. You'll get C + 15h = 6f. Finally, you have f multiplied by 6, so divide both sides by 6 to find f. You'll end up with (C+15h)/6 = f
