What is the average acceleration during the time interval 0 seconds to 10 seconds? Graph: http://i37.servimg.com/u/f37/16/73/53/52/graph_11.png Choices -0.5 meters/ per second^2 -1 meter/ per second^2 -2 meters/ per second^2 -3 meters/ per second^2

OpenStudy (theeric):

Do you know the meaning of average acceleration? It's the change in velocity per the change in time.\[\bar a=\frac{\Delta v}{\Delta t}=\frac{v_f-v_i}{t_f-t_i}\]

OpenStudy (theeric):

So that is \(\Large \frac{5\ [m/s]-0\ [m/s]}{10\ [s]-0\ [s]}=\frac{5\ [m/s]}{10s}\)

Oh! I see now :) Thanks for putting the formula! It helped a lot.
