OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which expression is the simplified form of the square root of r to the thirty-third power.? r11 r16 r11the square root of r. r16the square root of r.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

As far as I can understand this, the 11 stands for probably a proportion of 33 by 3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 goes in to 33 16 times with a remainder of 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so \(r^{16}\) comes outside the radial and \(r\) stays in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i.e. \[\large \sqrt{r^{33}}=r^{16}\sqrt{r}\]
