Yeah, it's just understanding the few basic ways that you can shape a graph. Randomly adding or subtracting a number at the end of the function will move it up and down. So since your asymptote moved from y = 0 to y = 3, you can get there by adding +3 to your 2^(x) function. As far as the flipping goes, the graph flips either across the y-axis or the x-axis depending on where you place a negative. If you place a negative with the x, the graph flips across the x-axis. If you make the function negative, then the graph flips across the x-axis. Now when I say make the function negative, I mean that if y=2^(x), then -y=2^(x) will then make your graph flip across the x-axis like you want it to. So those are thw two things you would need to do.
