OpenStudy (watermelon14):

Cindy made the diagram shown below to represent the steps in the formation of a hurricane. Which of these best fits the empty cell in Cindy's diagram? heating up of ocean water warm, moist air rises cool, dry air meets warm, moist air water vapor condenses in clouds @Festinger

OpenStudy (watermelon14):

OpenStudy (festinger):

it's either A or B. But since B is used later on in the chain, you should put A. Evaporation strictly speaking does not require heat, but more heat increases the rate.

OpenStudy (watermelon14):

Thanks lots!!! I'll go with that

OpenStudy (watermelon14):

Where would negatively charged particles be most likely found in an atom? on the protons inside the neutrons inside the nucleus outside the nucleus @Festinger

OpenStudy (theeric):

Firstly, I think you should post that as a new question. But.. Do you have a guess for that one?

OpenStudy (watermelon14):

Do you think you know this one? @Festinger

OpenStudy (theeric):

I know this one. You can logic it out. And no one on OpenStudy should be giving you answers.

OpenStudy (watermelon14):

Is it B right?

OpenStudy (theeric):

I see you closed the question. But what particles are negatively charged? Think of the atom.

OpenStudy (watermelon14):

electrons

OpenStudy (theeric):

And where in the atom are they located? Inside or outside the nucleus?

OpenStudy (watermelon14):

Inside

OpenStudy (theeric):

Really? The nucleus is made up of neutrons and protons. Electrons are considered to orbit around the nucleus. I think you have your answer, now.

OpenStudy (watermelon14):

Thanks man!

OpenStudy (theeric):

Your welcome! :)
