hey i solve this way round : I assume dime as d and nickel as n with their values as 0.1 and .05 of a dollar resp. then i formed 2 equations according to the question as d=7n and second one as \[0.1\times d =2.60 + 0.05 \times n\] then i plugged in the value of 1st equation in 2nd one as got n=4 and d=28 i.e. option C
