Can anybody explain how to simplify this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Order of operations - PEDMAS or BEDMAS Distribute the exponents first.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(\frac{c^2x^3}{zy^6})^4\times \frac{z^4y^3}{(c^3x^5)^2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Remember when raising a power to a power, you need to multiply the exponents.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x^a \times x^b = x^{a+b}\] and \[(x^a)^b = x^{ab} = (x^b)^a\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(c^8 x ^12/ z^4 y^24) (z^4 y^3 / c^6 x10)

@gypsy1274 @Euler271 is this correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. (FYI: You don't need to tag us, we will be notified of your reply because we have already responded.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now, you need to multiply straight across, just like multiplying any other fractions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is B the correct answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

After you have done that (don't take the time to write it out here) - you will need to do some division.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes it is. Fantastic!

Thank you so much!!!
